The Role:
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of employment tax? In this role, you will be the first point of contact for client inquiries on Employment Tax, evolving into a trusted Subject Matter Expert. You'll guide clients through complex tax and social security matters, ensuring compliance, uncovering opportunities for savings, and aligning Employment Tax practices with broader business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice to tax, payroll, finance, and HR teams on employment tax and social security implications.
- Guide external teams on employer reporting, withholding obligations, and employee compensation treatments.
- Support clients with compliance reviews, audit preparations, and remediation projects.
- Prepare tax returns (e.g., fringe benefit taxes) and analyze related data.
- Advise on contingent workforce processes and governance to manage tax risks effectively.
- Stay informed on evolving tax laws, updating clients proactively.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, driving satisfaction and retention.
As You Grow in the Role:
- Develop and implement comprehensive employment tax strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate tax planning into overall business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage employment tax projects (Senior Manager).
- Mentor and lead a team of employment tax professionals, fostering excellence (Director).
