Financial Accountant

The team is currently on the lookout for a Financial Accountant to join a global Engineering firm in West London. The main responsibilities will be supporting all accounting and finance operations, directly reporting into the Finance Manager and conducting detailed reports for key stakeholders!

Description

Financial Accountant

• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual report preparation (EMEA)
• Process and control improvements in tandem with key stakeholders
• Day-to-day activities for all finance operations including Payroll, AR, AP, VAT and wider reconciliation
• Ad-hoc project work when required
• Support with external and internal audits
• Streamline processes as appropriate to improve efficiency (across the EMEA region)
• Contribute in lease accounting processes - compliant with US GAAP
• Banking and Treasury activities - cash recs, requests for funding and cash flow forecasting

Profile

The Successful Financial Accountant

• Strong proven track record of financial accounting/accountant experience previously
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Excellent analytical skills, proactive nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of MS Packages and also SAP (desirable)
• Happy to adhere to an office based role (Hounslow)
• Studying towards ACCA, CIMA

• Base Starting Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
