The Management Accountant will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and the Financial Controller, working for a fast growing, industry leader business in the leisure industry.
Client Details
My client, based in Surrey, is a rapidly growing business within the sports and leisure sector.
Description
·To provide accurate management accounts and performance reporting information on a timely basis for the business.
·To produce weekly and monthly management reports performance analysis and forecasts.
·To develop management reporting and management information systems.
·To control and report on capital investment activity and returns compared to budgets.
·To assess and report on financial control processes, making recommendations for improvement. This includes the completion of 1 financial audit at each location annually.
·To develop internal and external benchmarking to secure improved performance.
·To produce annual revenue budgets and plans.
·To produce annual capital budgets and plans.
·To provide pre and post investment appraisals of major projects.
·To provide finance support on financial and commercial projects.
·To participate in the evaluation of potential business acquisitions.
·To participate in due diligence work and the efficient integration of acquired businesses.
·To make a key contribution to Year End statutory accounts production and the annual Audit process.
Perform relevant related duties as requested by your line manager and Senior Management Team.
Profile
Fully qualified (either newly qualified or with extensive experience) accountant with relevant experience.
