Semi Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Lahore. This role is focused on providing accounting services for our UK-based practice, excellent communication skills in English, and an understanding of UK accounting standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a position that allows an experienced Accountant to acquire operational and leadership experience whilst maintaining their client-facing and hands-on accounting responsibilities. We see this as a position that will prepare a high-performing Accountant for a role in team management. Responsibilities include but aren’t limited too:

The completion of year-end accounts, CT600, Corporation

Tax computations and Self-Assessment Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients

Supporting a team of Accountants, and a Team Manager, to continuously deliver the agreed level of service

Training, coaching and mentoring apprentices and Junior Accountants

Quality control and file reviews of colleagues

An ability to prepare accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax and SATR.

The ideal Semi Senior Accountant will have the following experience/ skills:

Due to the level of this role, you must have 1.5 -2 years of experience within a UK-based accountancy practice.

Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.

Must be a Part-qualified/ Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.  

We strictly follow UK base timings which will be from 9am to 5pm BST.
