Cost Analyst

Maintain customer financial transactions to ensure appropriate recording of activity including: prepare and complete financial costing reports (Scrap/MUV/CCA/MOH/Inventory reconciliation/freight/PPV/LCM/shop supply) timely and accurately according to accounting processes and procedures, respond & resolve operational issues arising and ensure stakeholders' requirements are met , including issues related to FIFO layering, PPV recognition, inventory reporting and other items affecting material margin, determine cost allocations, and support the Financial Analysts for margin analysis and other general ledger related questions.
Generate relevant finance reports with analysis on timely basis (include work order aging, inventory aging, inventory valuation, Scrap/MUV/CCA, shop supply etc.)
Work on special continuous improvement projects as requested to resolve problems or generate productivity improvement
Provide functional guidance to juniors in accomplishing operational objectives
Follow the financial month-end close processes; work with corporate accounting, site management and supporting teams to ensure site- and customer-level financial results are correctly stated in accordance with corporate procedures and that we meet all audit and control requirements.
