Job Description

Main purpose of role:

• Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the specific area.
• Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.
• Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
• Responsible for financial and economic analysis and forecasting and for evaluating alternate financial plans.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing Novo Nordisk P&L with sales of $300MM and one Commercial BU; prepare quarterly forecasts, monthly analysis for achievement of target division margins
• Responsible for cash flow forecasting, tracking actuals, proactively working with multiple stakeholders (CFS, EPO, EPD India region finance) to enable achievement of cash flow goal
• Work on monthly financial submissions (P&L, balance sheet variance commentary, S&OP deck, sales call submission)
• Support quarterly RLBE submissions, preparation of presentation decks for the same
• Be part of financial analysis, Cost optimization, margin improvement projects driven at affiliate, Region and HQ level
• Work with AIL Commercial leaders for achievement of financial goals, create contingency plans, effectively manage risks and opportunities to deliver financial goals
• Work with support function leaders for preparation and tracking of budgets
• Provide inputs and entries to CFS for monthly financial closing

Qualifications:

Education

• Chartered Accountant OR MBA Finance

• Minimum 4 to 6 years
