We are looking for a Plant Controller for our Client, an international manufacturing company. This role is crucial for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and involves supporting various financial analyses and audits.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly financial and management reports for the Group and Regional headquarters, as well as for the company’s management in Poland
- Preparing the quarterly group reporting package according to IFRS
- Reporting long-term contract settlements for the entire plant (cost control, sales, BS, P&L, FCF, exchange rate differences, financial instruments)
- Budgeting, planning (forecasts), reporting current data, and planning costs for the production plant
- Supporting the accounting department during month-end closings and financial audits
- Analyzing project profitability
- Proposing improvements in existing financial processes and their automation
- Preparing various financial reports and analyses on an ongoing basis
- Providing financial tools to support work and business decision-making (simulation models, specific reports, calculation tools, etc.)
- Collaborating with auditors and financial institutions
Requirements:
- Higher education in Controlling, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Experience in financial auditing or operational/production controlling in a manufacturing company executing long-term contracts
- Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes and reporting for Group purposes
- Very good knowledge of finance and accounting, financial reporting (IFRS)
- Fluent in English
- Practical knowledge of MS Office, including advanced Excel
- Experience working with financial-accounting systems and BI tools
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Experience in creating tools and building financial control processes
- Independence, timeliness, and accuracy
- Very good communication and teamwork skills
- Good self-organization skills
- Proactive approach to tasks, solution-oriented mindset
