An Audit Manager is required to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the accounting and finance department in a professional services firm. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong financial acumen, and an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Description

  • Manage a diverse client portfolio, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Conduct financial audits and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage from planning through to review.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting and finance department.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, identifying potential opportunities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and statements.

Profile

A successful Audit Manager should have:

  • An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA)
  • Previous experience in an Audit Manager role within a professional services firm.
  • Strong financial acumen and an ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Comfortable with supporting on site and coaching trainees.
