Description

As a Management Accountant, you will be stepping into a pivotal position within the finance team. This role involves working closely with senior stakeholders and taking charge of key financial activities, including closing accounts, managing journals, and providing valuable analytical reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage accruals, journals, and consolidation
• Support the implementation of new systems, bringing fresh insights and ideas to streamline processes.
• Assist with various financial projects and offer analytical reviews to senior management.
• Validate financial data, ensuring accuracy in reports and analysis.

Profile

• ACA Qualified Accountant
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to close accounts efficiently.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential - you're comfortable working with complex data sets and formulas.
• Experience in accruals accounting and journal bookings.
• A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in management accounting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and driving improvements.
• Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
