Get to Know the Team

Compliance team as part of the second line of defense under President Director Office, ensures our in compliance with prevailing regulations while maintaining business needs and goals. We work closely with team members either internal teams and also external such as regulators and auditors.

Get to Know the Role

The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate and coordinate well across different teams and personalities especially in conveying regulation, provide assessment to new initiatives against regulation, provide thorough risk based assessment, strategic advices and have a deep understanding on financial services regulation, mainly on P2P lending and its applicability. You will be based onsite in Grab Jakarta.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will be reporting to Head of Compliance.
• Lead and build the compliance culture within the assigned entity (OVO Finansial) and scope
• Provide regulatory advice and assessment on internal operations and new initiatives
• Work on strategic and tactical advice based on thorough risk assessment and collaboration between stakeholders
• Provide and present clear and concise compliance report or insights to management and stakeholders
• Lead efforts to create and manage company policies to support implementation of regulation
• Ensure that all regulatory reporting are submitted accordingly
• Maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders especially regulators such as OJK, PPATK, Associations, etc.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Leadership and management skill within Compliance or governance area
• Deep understanding on financial services industry and regulation, mainly on P2P lending
• Deep understanding on risk management and governance culture
• Prior compliance experience (5 years or more), either with under Bank Indonesia or OJK related financial institution
