In India, DLL Group operates as a Shared Service Centre (SSC) providing a best-in-class captive service delivery platform that centralizes, runs, transforms and automates processes of other DLL Group entities to help them to achieve their operational and financial objectives.

Your function

  • Accounting: Execute accounting activities, including file processing, booking and reconciliation. Contribute to month-end closing activities. Responsible for ensuring correct, reliable and up-to-date financial administration.
  • General and Subsidiary Ledger: Import and control transactions in the general and subsidiary ledgers, handling all aspects of the administrative process. Ensuring adequate, timely and complete general and subsidiary ledgers for assigned customers.
  • Accounts Payable: Coordinate and execute payments for customers, vendors, members. Liaise with Operations and other relevant internal and external stakeholders. Ensure correct and timely pay-outs that are compliant with policies, procedures and approval authorities. Liaising with independent auditor(s), banks etc. to ensure necessary supporting documentation procured is timely and accurate. Including in case of foreign outward remittances.
  • Accounts Receivable: Receive, register and process invoices and (allocation of) payments for assigned customers and/or partners. Liaising with Operations and other relevant internal and external stakeholders such as bank(s). Correct and timely registration and allocation of incoming payments.
  • Filing and Archiving: File, archive and check all financial and tax documents and ensure proper filing and retrieval of information, in line with financial and tax guidelines and legal requirements concerning storage time. Ensuring that information can be traced back quickly and is compliant with legal and audit requirements.
  • Reporting and Assurance support: Support in preparation, analysis and composition of various financial and management reports and reports on financial consequences and feasibilities. Accurate and timely preparation and dissemination of assigned reports to stakeholders.
  • Facilities Administration: Facilities management and associated local compliances such as Shops & Establishment Act, fire extinguishers etc. in respect of Company’s offices in Mumbai and elsewhere: maintain and order supply of small office articles, sanitary supplies and provisions and organize the supply room so that it is optimally stocked to ensure smooth operations of Company’s office(s). Planning and handling logistics for Company events and trainings.

Your profile

  • Graduate degree with vocational level of thinking.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience. Of which 1 – 2 years of experience working in a shared services/Global Competence Centre or similar environment.
  • Strong analytical and people skills.
  • Good understanding of Finance and controls requirements.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work well with and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders. Strong team player.
  • Self-driven. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for planning, managing and executing Company events, trainings and social events.
  • Able to develop plans for various tasks and initiatives with competing priorities and re-prioritise tasks quickly and in line with management expectations.
