What will your typical day look like?
You will provide direct support to the Finance department. You will support various operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and other ad hoc finance processes. Your responsibilities include ensuring that all invoices are timely and accurately entered into the Finance system. You monitor the expense approval process, including the follow up of outstanding approvals and vendor assessment procedures. You are also responsible for timely payments to all vendors and staff and that vendor account statements are cleared monthly. This role allows you to work closely with the local team, while demonstrating your ability to identify opportunity for efficiencies and seek resolutions.
About the team
Our Finance team interacts with CBC business leadership to ensure they have timely, accurate and useful information which they use to develop or amend business strategy. From a daily operations perspective we ensure that the controls, policies and processes are in place for our finance operations including time and billing, payments, salary payments, treasury operations and shared services in the CBC along with other normal finance functions.

You are someone with:
  • High school certificate (Bachelor degree and/or equivalent in finance, accounting or other related field is preferred)
  • 1-2 years’ relevant work experience (At least 1 years’ work experience in audit/accounting is preferred)
  • Working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and financial reports
  • Working towards an internationally recognized accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA) is preferred.
