Job Title: Business Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Drive the digitization of standards, ensuring seamless integration into business processes and technology frameworks.
  • Design, implement, and oversee Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for accurate and efficient data migration, transformation, and integration.
  • Manage data verification, mapping, and validation processes.
  • Plan, manage, and execute business analysis activities throughout the platform development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and technology standards.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate sustainability metrics, ERP, Finance components, and ESG considerations into platform features.
  • Conduct data analysis and develop reports, providing information through standard and ad hoc reports.
  • Assess business requirements and develop effective solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Perform change control procedures to maintain the integrity of systems, software, and databases.
  • Coordinate needs assessments, information gathering, and the design of new information systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external data providers to ensure timely and accurate data availability.
  • Mentor junior business analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for data and platforms.
  • Identify optimization opportunities for the platform and recommend solutions for enhanced user experience, integrating sustainability-related features.
  • Monitor data/platform performance through relevant KPIs, with a focus on sustainability impacts and ESG compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business Analytics, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CFA Level 1, CAF (Article ship completed). 
  • 3-4 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a technology or sustainability-focused environment. 
  • Knowledge of ESG & Sustainability is a plus.  
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business functions and their integration into overall processes.
  • Ability to market and present statistical information in a concise manner to various stakeholders. 
  • Familiarity with IFRS, SI, S2, ESRS, and GRI standards.
  • Strong understanding of data identification processes in data management and business operations.
  • Ability to successfully complete both generic and department-specific skills relevant to the role. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with tact and diplomacy, to effectively engage with teams and stakeholders. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while directing organized work efforts. 
  • Capability to function effectively in an environment with multiple and fluctuating priorities. 
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage heavy workloads while adapting to changing environments. 
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English.
