Description

Manage day-to-day financial operations within the Accounting & Finance Department.
Prepare monthly financial reports and provide accurate updates to management.
Ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded and filed.
Assist in developing annual budgets and financial plans.
Support the completion of year-end financial audits.
Play a key role in implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to achieve financial objectives.
Actively participate in Not For Profit sector initiatives and projects.

Profile

A successful Finance Officer should have:

A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite- ideally SUN SYSTEMS.
Experience working in a busy payments team & a love for Accounts Payable.Experience in processing invoices, doing VAX Returns and account reconciliations. Outstanding problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Offer
