The Company

Our client is a reputation asset manager with a strong presence in Pan Asia. They are looking to expand their academic program and looking for a technical trainee with strong past experience as a portfolio manager.

The Role

• Train and mentor analysts on financial modelling, fundamental research, and analytical skills regarding investment theses, fundamental research, and learning how to pitch investment
• Develop, create, and deliver training sessions with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to ensure the training curriculum remains relevant
• Recommend the best practices from reading news flow, sell-side research, company filings, earnings transcripts, and more
• Provide academic guidance and training to Academy analysts
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align training initiatives with the overall growth strategy and goals
• Assist in producing evaluation materials

Your Profile

• Degree or above with major in Business Administration or Finance related discipline is preferred
• 10 + years of experience in Hedge industry is highly preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management
• Ability to work independently but also work collaboratively in a team environment
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
