A leading global life sciences company is urgently looking for a Jp/Eng bilingual Sr. Accountant to join the Japan office and collaborate with the global teams. This stable business with a rich history in the Japan market offers career path, work 4 days/week WFH, and little to no overtime work.

Operating in over 100 countries, our client has established itself as a trusted name as a provider of products and services in its market and segments such as pharmaceutical and biotech companies, research institutions, and food, chemical, and environmental testing labs.

In Japan, our client has a strong presence known for delivering high-quality, reliable techologies that align with Japan's stringent quality and precision standards. With around 600 staff in Japan, our client plays a significant role in enabling Japanese labs and industries to meet global and local regulatory requirements.

Description

• Prepare and review financial statements following Japan and US GAAP.
• Manage tax tasks, including audits, filing returns, and submitting notifications.
• Assist with internal projects.
• Handle tax payments, prepare government reports, and organize financial records.

Profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Skilled in Excel, Word, and other digital tools.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
