Financial Controller

Description

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor and control financial performance and costs, providing actionable insights to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic goals.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and legal requirements.
• Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior finance team members.
• Work closely with the accounting team to manage financial closing processes.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's is a plus).
• 3-4 years of experience in a financial controller or similar role, preferably within retail or sports industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficient in financial software and MS Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
