What will your typical day look like?

You will manage a portfolio of key clients on a day-to-day basis with a focus on high quality delivery and leading with integrity to build inclusion, motivation, and develop team members capabilities. You will use their expertise in taxation to provide compliance and consulting services to US and foreign partnerships and corporations. You must have extensive experience providing tax services and have the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution development and implementation for our clients' tax needs. You will be expected to have advanced knowledge of the relevant industry and US tax regulations and play an active role in business development activities and management of the Tax practice.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You are someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree; preferably in a related field. Master's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field is preferred
  • An internationally recognized professional accounting or legal qualification (CPA, JD/LLM (taxation focus)
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in a relevant US tax role, including exposure to and understanding of US Internal Revenue Code (e.g., US state-licensed CPA or attorney or IRS Enrolled Agent)
  • Minimum 3 years' managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated experience at a leadership level, including coaching, mentoring, developing, and leading team members.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of US international tax compliance and US internal revenue code.
  • Experience managing large-scale client engagements utilizing effective project management skills within Financial Services or other targeted sectors.
  • Experience supporting business growth including selling, winning, and delivering tax services.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of OECD Pillar Two global minimum tax initiatives
  • History of supporting audit teams as a tax specialist – preferably on SEC engagements
  • Experience with ASC 740 and SSAP 101
  • Experience in US taxation of investment products and services, including hedge funds, and/or US taxation of insurance companies.
