Senior Corporate Finance Manager (PLC)

You'll be involved in the full responsibilities of a corporate finance function, to lead feasibility studies, M&A and proposals review.

Our client is a PLC who is looking for hands-on, driven individual who is technically strong with good working ethics.

Description

• Evaluate and review corporate proposals, including funding and capital raising initiatives, to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
• Conduct valuations of target companies using various methodologies, and prepare feasibility studies and financial models/projections where applicable.
• Develop models for mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring, and business models, including pre- and post-deal cash flows, P&L, balance sheets, and assessing the financial impact on group results for valuation and due diligence.
• Formulate corporate proposal schemes, negotiating optimal terms and structures in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Address proposal-related issues and provide solutions or recommendations.
• Prepare and review all relevant documentation for proposals, including presentations, legal documents, board papers, shareholder announcements, and circulars.
• Ensure all corporate finance activities comply with updated regulations from Bursa Malaysia, the Securities Commission, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external professional parties, including investment bankers, lawyers, company secretaries, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Oversee the execution of corporate exercises, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and structure until completion.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in accountancy, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in corporate finance within a merchant banking environment, PLC, or a Big Four audit firm.
• Possess good writing and presentation skills with the ability to structure investment and corporate finance proposals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, ability to drive and function effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
