Junior Accountant - Brussels

Our client in Brussels is seeking a Junior Accountant with a passion for property to support their Accounting & Finance team in all aspects of financial management.

Description

• Review and validate daily cash receipts/cash management process ensuring accuracy and on time completion: booking of the suppliers' and customer invoices, bank statements, miscellaneous operations (deferrals, accruals, amortizations, …)
• To assist with the preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports and other reporting
• To assist with the preparation of periodical VAT-returns
• Assist with the annual audits
• Provide responsive service to clients and other stake stakeholdersholders

Profile

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent experience
• You have a first experience in accounting
• A good knowledge of Excel is a must
• Previous experience with Yardi and/or BOB is a plus
• You are fluent in either French or Dutch with a good level of the other language. Above that you have a good level of verbal and written communication skills in English
