Our Technology & Shared Functions team consist of 4 colleagues and we have a friendly and inclusive work environment where we help each other to succeed. The position will be based at Gdansk office which is a vital location of financial services thus having the opportunity to closely collaborate and share knowledge with passionate finance professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Support functional leadership with value-adding financial insights
  • Perform financial controlling tasks in relation to month-end processes
  • Tracking & reporting incoming costs (OPEX and CAPEX)
  • Generate and deliver standard reporting package to management and functional leaders
  • Prepare and submit rolling forecast data together with partnering functions
  • Follow-up on budget initiatives (actual performance vs budget)
  • Ad-hoc analysis
  • Participate in the monthly review meetings with relevant business stakeholders (analysing monthly variances)
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver value-adding proposals with clear financial impact
  • Identify and implement relevant optimization opportunities based on data insights

Qualifications and competences
  • Degree in Economics, Finances or relevant
  • Experience in financial controlling and analysis
  • Experience on cost management accounting
  • Proven financial toolbox - experience with cost management (OPEX and CAPEX)
  • Experience in PowerBI or relevant will be an asset
  • Experience with financial planning software like OneStream is a plus
  • Fluent English skills (verbal and written)
  • Analytical mindset, data-driven with solution-oriented approach
  • Good collaborator and team-player
  • Willingness to engage with various teams and stakeholders within the organization
  • Structured and organized mindset
