A Credit Controller manages a company's accounts receivable by ensuring timely payment of invoices. They handle overdue accounts, resolve payment issues, and maintain strong client relationships.

Description
- Proactively follow up on aging and overdue accounts by contacting clients directly through email and phone.
- Provide guidance and identify solutions to address outstanding issues.
- Oversee order holds and releases, analyze underlying causes, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Respond to client inquiries by relaying relevant information to the appropriate department(s).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers with questions about their outstanding balances.
- Maintain and manage client files, including submitting necessary information to credit insurance providers when required.
- Ensure accurate cash allocation for client purchases by coordinating directly with clients.
- Report directly to the Credit Controller.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional experience in the field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Credit Controller role.
- Fluency in English and French. German & Dutch are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and maintain a results-driven mindset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with ERP systems like Infor M3 and/or Odoo is an asset.
