Job Description

You are passionate about delivering large to medium complexity programs and managing related senior stakeholder relationships, that role is for you.

As a Business Analyst in the Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA), you will have the opportunity to lead data, infrastructure, accounting standard, and business process change management events. You will be the Chief Data Office for Finance and Treasury Chief Investment Office (TCIO). Together, we provide a centralized program management and business analysis capability, targeted program governance, and consistent application of program management standards including system testing and change management practices. Our current focus is on overseeing the Data Acquisition framework for strategic and legacy Finance, TCIO, Risk, and Liquidity platforms.

The Reference Data Product Owner Team is looking for a high performing Associate to drive delivery of strategic data sourcing to facilitate Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Reporting. Your role would be to drive end-to-end delivery of ESG obligations in response to regulatory requirements (EU Taxonomy and Net Zero Emissions) including internal firmwide initiatives. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Drive end-to-end project strategy discussions, develop and deliver plans for successful implementation for all ESG-aligned activities
  • Identify and drive solutions for business process re-engineering initiatives, along with creating supporting documentation and end user operational experience
  • Provide oversight of the release plan inclusive of project or release scope, critical milestones, sourcing requirements, test strategy and execution and implementation checklists and stakeholder / technology activities  
  • Gather and document business / data requirement documents
  • Coordinate JIRA grooming, test execution and issue resolution
  • Influence and communicate with senior stakeholders (business, operations, technology) 
  • Facilitate resolution of data quality issues; lead stakeholder working groups to progress issues through lifecycle

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Basic to Advanced SQL experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of program and /or project management experience
  • Experience in delivering large to medium complexity programs and managing related senior stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and able to wear multiple hats – both tactical and strategic

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Understanding of Financial and/or Regulatory reporting processes; understanding of Reference Data or ESG Initiatives is a plus
  • Previous experience in Finance, Risk, or Reference Data is a plus
  • Experience with Agile delivery, JIRA a plus
