Accountant - Pakistan/ Remote.

We are a UK based company looking for an experienced accountant who speaks English and can provide 2 professional references. Reporting to the Director, this role involves accountancy and payroll administration responsibilities, presenting a unique opportunity to contribute to our growth.

Main responsibilities

• Compute taxes and complete tax returns (VAT, corporation tax, self-assessment tax)
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements  
• Prepare financial statements  
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Issue invoices
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Bookkeeping  

Experience/ Required skills:

• Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) is highly desirable. ACCA finalists can also apply.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and familiarity with UK tax laws.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably familiarity with UK accounting practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, report writing, and accounting software.
• Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and analytics.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
