Finance Business Partner (hybrid)

Client Details

Our client is an extremely successful, well established and market leading manufacturing business with sites throughout the UK. It has over 23 manufacturing and distribution sites throughout the UK, but you will be based from the site in Spalding.

Description

You will be reporting into the Senior Finance Manager who oversees 3 manufacturing sites throughout the UK. You will be providing financial support and management information to the non-finance management team at the Spalding site, which will include, but will not be limited to:

• Preparing the site weekly P&L with analysis and commentary on costs and profitability
• Business partnering the General Manager and other non-finance stakeholders, and supporting them with driving down costs and increasing profitability
• Advising on and driving best practices and procedures in finance
• Month end journals and reconciliations
• Supporting with budgeting and forecasting

Profile

To apply for this position, you:

• Must have experience of working in management accounts
• Must have excellent oral communication skills and the ability to challenge non-finance stakeholders
• Do not need experience of working in manufacturing, but this would be advantageous
• Do not need experience of business partnering non-finance stakeholders, but this would be advantageous
• Will ideally be studying CIMA or ACCA, but my client will consider candidates who are qualified by experience or AAT Qualified

Job Offer

• £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent upon experience)
