What is the Opportunity?

  • We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join Standard Chartered as Manager, PRA Regulatory Reporting. This is a critical role based in Chennai or Bengaluru and will play a key role in delivering various Capital and Liquidity regulatory returns for the Group. It also has a transformational element as we seek to rebuild the function to optimise our global processes end-to-end.

What will you do?

  • The Associate Manager, PRA Regulatory Reporting, plays a critical role in the production, control and delivery of the Group’s key prudential supervisory reporting.

Responsibilities

Reporting and Processes

  • Play a key role in the delivery of key PRA Regulatory Reports
  • Manage data and associated risks in process execution
  • Champion end-to-end simplification of the reporting process
  • Champion an end-to-end process mindset with all stakeholders involved in executing the process

Policy

  • Ensure compliance with the policies of the Group related to the delivery of PRA Regulatory Reporting.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Lead the team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.

Qualification

  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent
  • Experience in external regulatory and financial reporting
  • Experience in transformation and change programmes will be an advantage.
  • Mandatory Group e-Learning
