Purpose of Role:
Business Analysis Senior Manager is responsible for liaising with business teams in order to elicit, analyze, validate and communicate requirements for changes in business processes, policies, applications and systems, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
A significant part of the role will consist of external client exposure & relationship management, with the role expected to act not only as a lead BA/ SME but also as a representative of StateStreet and IFDS.
The role also includes extensive supporting duties for the change pipelines and Change Management community, while operating in a complex cross-border/ cross-organization matrix environment.
Specific Duties:
Duties
- Perform the role of Business Analyst in projects, programmes and initiatives: analysis of system enhancements/ operational changes; identification & documentation of requirements, scope and acceptance criteria; presentation of demos & walkthroughs of requirements with BU and clients; challenging existing processes and driving change;
- Work closely with developers and end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction; write User Manuals, Training Materials and Application Support Documents as required;
- Perform the role of Lead Business Analyst, with an overall accountability for the BA deliverables, as well as oversight over junior BA roles working on the project.
- Client exposure: the role is expected to take part in high-profile projects with significant exposure to external clients;
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in systems and processes;
- Individual management of small initiatives is frequently expected;
- Driving, participating or supporting a wide array of change management activities incl. deployment planning, PMO procedures/ policies, pipeline management.
- Proactively identify and contribute to the evolution of the BA Charter/Methodology to industry best practice;
- Act as a representative for the BA Team, ChM Team, IFDS and StateStreet in reference to both employees as well as internal and external clients;
- Providing support at team/ department level, playing challenging support roles, ownership of complex initiatives;

Specific Qualifications/ Skills:
Skills and competencies
- Proven track record of extensive experience in business analysis & delivery within financial or technical sector;
- Experience with working with vendors and external clients;
- Knowledge of project management and understanding of different methodologies (Waterfall/Agile);
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Proven experience of building and managing relationships in complex, challenging, matrix environment;
- Proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having determination to follow things through;
- Knowledge of BPMN and process modeling system (for example: Visio, Bizagi);
- Excellent English language skills;
- Strong MsOffice suite skills;
Level of Education:
- Higher education in relevant technology, finance or business sciences;
Previous Level of Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of business analysis & change management experience in financial or technology services;
