Our client is a global operating company with China operation for many years. They have full operating cycle from research & development to manufacturing to sale.

Description

The CFO position is a key leadership role.

This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of the finance function, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Tax, Treasury, and Controllership, while providing strategic business partnering support to the China executives to drive business strategy, growth, and profitability.

The role will lead a team of approximately 20 professionals and play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting organisational objectives.

Profile

The preferred candidate comes with:

• Bachelor's or above degree in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance leadership roles, ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Integration experience is a big plus.
• Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and cultures.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
