Our client in Gozo is looking for an Internal Accountant to join the team. Your goal will be to provide financial support to Management to ensure that the company meets its regulatory, financial, and reporting requirements.

Key Tasks

  • Monthly Management Account Reporting
  • Annual Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Liaise with Bank
  • Quarterly VAT Returns - (3 companies)
  • Accruals/Prepayments Scheduling
  • Fixed Asset Schedule Maintenance
  • Monthly Sales Performance Reporting
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Audit Preparation/Liaise with Auditors to Finalise the Financial Statements
  • Supplier Invoice Posting/reconciliation
  • Customer receipts + dealing with queries
  • Support and mentor staff members
  • Sales Rebate calculation and agreement preparation
  • Ad hoc tasks required by management

Requirements 

  • Qualifications in ACCA or Degree in Accounting 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an Internal Accounting role 
  • Experience in VAT returns and Monthly Management Account reporting 
  • Good communication skills with a good level of English
