about the role
This role oversees the full spectrum of finance operations, including forecasting, financial reporting, and corporate compliance. As the Head of Finance, you will ensure the organization's financial health and adherence to local regulations. You will also serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, providing financial insights to support key business decisions.
A key focus of this role is commercial finance management, where you will evaluate financial terms for potential clients, highlight risks, and propose solutions to drive sustainable growth. You will also lead the organization's forecasting processes, preparing annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts for P&L and balance sheets while managing narratives, financial analysis, and system updates.
In financial reporting and compliance, you will supervise monthly closing activities and manage project revenue recognition and reconciliation. Additionally, you will work with auditors and external advisors to ensure the timely publication of the annual report.
skills and experience needed
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in accounting, with expertise in both financial and management accounting. You must have experience managing small teams and collaborating across various levels of an organization. Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills are essential, and prior experience in project accounting is highly preferred.
