A Fixed Asset Analyst is responsible for managing and tracking a company's fixed assets, ensuring accurate record-keeping, depreciation calculations, and compliance with financial regulations.

Description
- Manage the Record to Report (RTR) process for fixed assets, ensuring that all asset transactions, including acquisitions, transfers, and disposals, are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of fixed asset accounts within the RTR framework to support accurate financial reporting and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist in the preparation of fixed asset reports and schedules for management and external reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Support the RTR team with fixed asset-related queries, providing timely and accurate information for financial statement preparation.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role, with a focus on fixed assets, is typically required (usually 1-3 years of experience).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent) may be preferred but are not always required.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, particularly in relation to fixed assets, depreciation, and capital expenditures.
- Proficiency in financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar asset management systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
