As a Policy Manager, you will evaluate amendment requests for insurance products supporting Belgian exporters, conduct comprehensive risk analyses, and manage export finance operations.

Description

• Assess and process amendment requests for export credit insurance policies.
• Perform financial and qualitative analyses, evaluating political and structural risks.
• Monitor covered risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Manage export finance operations, including buyer and supplier credits, and letter of credit transactions.
• Prepare and present proposals to decision-making committees.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
• Participate in various internal projects alongside underwriting duties.

Profile

• Master's degree in economics, applied economics, or business engineering.
• Proficiency in French and Dutch; strong command of English for international communication.
• Analytical mindset with excellent synthesis and writing skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while fostering team collaboration.
• Keen interest in international trade, politics, commodity markets, and emerging economies.
