KPMG's Corporate Tax Advisory division is looking for a highly talented tax professional to join their growing team.
Job DescriptionOur Corporate Tax Advisory division is a market leading, dynamic, fun team that helps WA’s largest businesses understand complex domestic and international corporate tax matters. We recognise that multinational businesses face obstacles in managing tax across different jurisdictions and we use our local and global expertise to cut through the complexity this entails.
Your Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Manager or Manager who is ready to take their career to the next level and grow with us. Forming part of the Corporate Tax Advisory team this role will see you:
- Providing income tax advice to large domestic and multinational companies on a myriad of complex tax matters
- Have flexibility on whether to also have a compliance portfolio, or whether to focus almost exclusively on advisory
- Developing relationships with clients and targets to gain an understanding of their businesses, and identify potential opportunities
- Leading multiple engagements of varying size and complexity
- Producing well-researched and well-written tax opinions
- Providing guidance and mentoring to junior tax consultants

Your Experience

- Previous corporate tax experience in either a professional or legal services firm, or in-house role
- Strong Australian tax technical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to produce well-researched and clearly articulated tax opinions.
- A commitment to client service with a proven track record of developing strong relationships with clients.
We are looking for applicants that have Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Accounting/Finance/ Law or similar.
