A global company is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and lead a high-performing finance team. This role offers hybrid working, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing organisation.

Client Details

A fast-growing, innovative company, dedicated to transforming traditional models with cutting-edge technology and global expertise. Recently acquired by an industry leader, it operates internationally, and is experiencing exponential growth.

Description

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and oversee financial statements, management accounts, and ensure compliance with international standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, cash flow management, and provide strategic financial insights.
  • Compliance & Controls: Establish internal controls, manage audits, and ensure tax and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Collaboration: Act as a key liaison with international headquarters, aligning financial reporting and processes.

Profile

The successful applicant will be an experienced financial professional with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in financial leadership roles, ideally within high-growth or international environments. They will have strong technical accounting skills, a deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS, and expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

They should bring excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Leadership qualities are essential, with a track record of managing and developing teams effectively.

A proactive, adaptable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and a passion for delivering results will set the right candidate apart. Experience in the industry is a plus.
