We are looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated professionals with strong analytic and organisational skill to join our Strategic Reward team based in Manchester
The Strategic Reward business is part of PwC's rapidly growing Workforce practice.
We are currently looking for new members of the team to help advise clients on a broad range of reward and executive compensation matters. It's an exciting time to be part of our business as Workforce related challenges are some of the biggest issues faced by employers. Coupled with this, an increased focus on executive pay by external stakeholders and increased pay governance generally, means our clients need our help.
What your days will look like:
The role would be responsible for advising clients in a number of areas relating to reward and executive compensation, across a wide range of clients spanning all sectors including UK listed (PLC and AIM) and unlisted (e.g. private equity-backed) businesses. The scope of the role is wide and will vary depending on the needs of our clients. Responsibilities will include the following areas:

The role would be responsible for advising clients in a number of areas relating to reward and executive compensation, across a wide range of clients spanning all sectors including UK listed (PLC and AIM) and unlisted (e.g. private equity-backed) businesses. The scope of the role is wide and will vary depending on the needs of our clients. Responsibilities will include the following areas:
- Advising clients on reward strategy, including developing end-to-end practical solutions from reward design through to implementation and operation
- Advising clients in respect of executive compensation disclosure and corporate governance, including compliance with associated regulations
- Advising clients on shareholder consultations, including drafting associated materials
- Providing research and data on market practice in various aspects of pay to support companies' decisions, including executive pay benchmarking
- Supporting companies through the annual Remuneration Committee cycle, including reviewing and/or drafting associated papers
- Advising clients ahead of IPO on reward strategy and design
- Advising clients on incentive plan design, including cost modelling
- Assisting with client management, including risk processes, timely billing and cash collection
This role is for you if:
- Experience of working in reward / executive compensation, either in-house or within a consultancy practice
- Must possess a ACA/CTA or ATT Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
- Able to manage own time
- Able to deliver bespoke written and oral advice to clients in a simple way
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team effectively
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
