Accountant (General Insurance) 40k per month

The compnay

A well-established general insurer is looking for an Accountant. They are looking for a candidate either with solid GI accounting exp or Big 4 candidate with auditing and RBC exposures.

The Role

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing
• Prepare the journals, reconciliation, monthly management report and Group Reporting
• Assist in implementation of RBC and IFRS 17
• Responsible for quarterly and annual statutory filings with regulators
• Assist with annual audit and tax filing
• Participate in ad hoc projects / other financial works as assigned by the Superior

Your profile:

• Professional qualification of recognized accounting bodies
• 4+ years experience in financial accounting field / insurance or experience in Big 4 or in insurance auditing is highly preferred
• Attention to detail and able to work under pressure
• Well-organized and systematic
• Good command in Cantonese and English
