Job Description
In this position, you will work with clients from a range of industries and different geographical locations - some of them with a Czech headquarter and others with foreign headquarters having an entity or a branch in the Czech Republic. You will have the opportunity to deal with global HR/mobility teams. One day you could be analyzing a client's tax residency position and another day you could be consulting clients on their Czech tax implications while they are considering a relocation or a long term company secondment opportunity. Together with a team of passionate colleagues, you will advise our clients on personal tax and social security aspects of employing people in an international context (both inbound and outbound).
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Participate in all compliance related services for individuals, mainly in a cross-border situation: tax, social security, employment matters.
- Participate in preparing annual personal income tax returns, including making advanced calculations and filling in forms of individuals in a cross-border situation.
- Communicate with the tax and social security authorities: file and obtain various documents, such as certificates for paid taxes, tax residency certificates, tax numbers, social security certificates of coverage etc.
- Make research for preparation of advice to clients on personal income tax and social security matters together with participating in summarizing the output of such consulting tasks/projects related to global mobility.
- Preparing reports on the personal income tax, social security implications and related aspects to the movement of people cross-border, providing advice to clients on the optimal planning and structuring of assignments.
- Payroll knowledge will be introduced to you as well.
- Communicate with clients and other Vialto offices.
Qualifications
- Last year students or graduates in Economics, Business, Accounting, Finance and Law.
- Proficiency in English and Czech (German language is advantage, but not “must”).
- Previous experience in the same or similar area, tax, payroll, HR would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task with a focus on achieving results.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy, feel comfortable with figures/calculations.
- Proactive, efficient, very well self-organized, able to meet tight deadlines, able to drive and push tasks to the end independently or with little supervision.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Digitally oriented and eager to learn new technology.
- Professional curiosity, energetic and responsible nature, eagerness and motivation to learn new things and internal drive to self-develop.
