Strategy and Transactions - Intern
EY’s Strategy and Transactions professionals work with clients to create social and economic value. In fast-changing markets we help our clients make better, more informed decisions about strategically managing capital and transactions. Your key responsibilities
- Assisting in performing turnaround and restructuring services, valuations for mergers and acquisitions, management planning, tax, and financial reporting purposes, as well as shareholder disputes
- Developing valuation models/analyses and presentations based on financial, accounting, and engineering data derived from on-site reviews of manufacturing processes
- Providing business, financial, and accounting due diligence services in connection with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and other transactions
- Collaborating to provide strategic counsel to corporate and private equity leaders
- Presenting directly to our client’s leadership team to explain the work you’re doing as part of the team

Qualifications
- Have or be working toward, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a dual Finance-Accounting major
- A strong academic record, including coursework that EY deems relevant to this position
- A genuine interest in financial strategy and an understanding of current market trends and issues
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- A demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Superior project management, interpersonal, communication, teaming, organizational and technology skills
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
- Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
