Job Description

Northern Trust is looking to recruit professionals for its Bangalore Centre. Successful recruit would be part of Northern Trust’s Corporate Liquidity Risk Management. This is a highly visible role, to work on key regulatory projects, frequent interaction with business partners across the globe.

Experience: 3+years of relevant experience

Major Duties

  • Support key Northern Trust's Liquidity risk activities covering a range of related areas which include oversight on LCR, NSFR, Early Warning Indicators, Liquidity Metrics, Collateral Management, Liquidity Stress Testing.
  • Engage with the first line Treasury to resolve liquidity issues and provide second line challenge across the various areas.
  • Work closely with first line presenting explanations for trends and issues identified through the analysis, monitoring and reporting process of risks
  • Perform independent analysis for movement of key metrics, understand the overall data needs and have a risk and control mindset.
  • Contribute and own committee tasks – working with stakeholders to create the meeting materials, action logs, overall owner for the committee material etc.
  • Facilitate and Support strong controls over data, reports, and analysis, including automation, reconciliation and testing
  • Perform documentation, procedures and controls to enable accurate and timely reporting.

Qualification: MBA and relevant industry experience

Skills Required

  • 3+ years of experience in Liquidity risk management
  • Strong knowledge of financial services and good understanding of at least one regulation impacting liquidity risk – LCR, NSFT, Stress testing, Intraday etc.
  • Good understanding of products like deposits, securities, derivatives etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated success challenging and influencing outcomes
  • Experience with any of the industry products – Adenza, Cognos, Python, Power BI etc., is an added advantage
  • Strong data, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with advanced excel
