As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.

Discover the role

The R2R Global Process Owner will be the owner of the finance operations processes within R2R. This individual will be responsible for setting KPIs and meeting the anticipated targets by focusing on the global process design, process deployment, further standardizing and optimizing the R2R process within the global Finance function, and improving world-class performance. The Global Process Owner will report to the Global RDC Director and collaborate with senior executives within Group, Market FDs, Sales, and Finance Backoffice. Finally, the Global Process Owner acts as the link between the PGM and the R2R manager.

At this role you will have possibility to work remotely or from the office in Katowice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a clear vision and strategy for Record to Report processes across the JET operating model.
  • Possess ownership of R2R processes and act as subject matter expert (SME) for process documentation.
  • Partner and collaborate as business partner with Group, Market Finance Directors for accounting, financial reporting, data governance etc.
  • Help in setting and writing all design standards and procedures of process with other Process Owners (Order to Cash (O2C) and Purchase to Pay (P2P)).
  • Sets and oversees the maintenance of Record to Report process level master data with the context of global platform and standards and monitors adherence.
  • Collaboration with the Internal Control and SOX team to ensure compliance of processes.
  • Defines R2R Key performance indicator (KPI’s) in line with the SLA’s to be used to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes and end to end business needs.
  • Get understanding of stakeholder requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis, problem resolution and support recommending options.
  • Identify, prioritize and deliver specific process improvement initiatives (including system implementations) to drive better decisions in support of federated growth.
  • Mandate to explore/develop business cases requesting for R2R process changes.
  • Act as a stakeholder to foster a culture of change within Record to Report domains.
  • Develop and implement a corporate communication (package) to present derived results, recommendations and solutions.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer to R2R team members in terms of processes and technology.
  • Ensure delivery of R2R services, including essentials such as record keeping, period close, finance and external reporting, tax planning and compliance, transfer pricing, decision support.
  • Help develop and maintain a cross-functional, standardized accounting and financial reporting system.
  • Establish internal/external performance metrics to meet local regulations and global reporting standards.
  • Be point of escalation for operational issues and resolve process problems reported to RDC at appropriate levels.
  • Liaison with the external and internal auditors for supporting finance related matters.
  • Strengthen connection between the Record to Report process and financial statements, statutory/tax filings and disclosures.
  • Facilitate development, co-leads and develops current team members to excel in assigned role; and attract new team members.
  • Leading the delivery of Country Integration in case of new acquisitions from an R2R perspective.

Key Requirements

  • Degree (Bachelor’s in accounting, finance or equivalent)
  • Professional Accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Extensive experience in the R2R domain (> 10 years), with a strong understanding of the R2R end-to-end process.
  • Excellent understanding of the critical success factors for SSC as reliable, effective and efficient business service provider.
  • Leadership skills with experience in leading and managing R2R teams.
  • Experience in process design, process mapping, improving process quality using best practices, process review & process compliance.
  • Experience in D365 and OneStream Consolidation Tool are preferred.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of IFRS guidelines.
  • Proven ability to project management and willingness to deliver in changing environments while effectively managing timelines.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with various cross functional stakeholders and effectively cascade the vision of the Finance department.
  • Proficiency in English skills (both written as verbal proficiency).
  • Can do attitude, energetic, analytical and forward thinking.
