Who we are looking for:

The State Street Bank International GmbH Finance - Regulatory Reporting team seeks a Capital & Liquidity Reporting Manager, Vice President based in Munich. The Capital & Liquidity Reporting Manager is responsible for oversight and submission of Common Reporting (COREP) to EMEA regulators in a timely and accurate manner. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and contributes to the integrity of the organizational financial reporting.

The role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements:

What you will be responsible for:

  • Leading Finance professionals in area of Regulatory Reporting
  • Oversee the production of specific EU and German Bank regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the collation and review of Regulatory policies within the EMEA space
  • Project management for regulatory initiatives as required, including Data and I.T requirements
  • Development and implementation of reporting improvements and automation initiatives
  • Ensure that Regulatory Reports are compliant with BCBS 239 principles and are accurately reported to regulatory authorities and in management reports
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of reporting requirements and stay current with changes in regulations
  • Manage regulatory interactions for the specific reports as required

What we value:

  • Professional experience in Finance Reporting or Finance Accounting
  • Regulatory Reporting experience preferred and Regulatory Reporting experience in the areas of Financial Reporting (FINREP) or Common Reporting (COREP – Own Funds, Leverage Ratio, Large Exposure, LCR, NSFR) an advantage
  • Practical knowledge of accounting databases such as Oracle and regulatory software such as Regnology (Abacus 360) preferred
  • Demonstrated people management, organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with stakeholders (Risk, Business, Data and IT teams) in a multi-locational environment

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in business, economics, finance, accounting or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in banking, financial services with some exposure to Regulatory Reporting
  • Have a strong understanding of policies, procedures and controls
  • Proficiency in Regulatory Reporting Software, Regnology (Abacus 360) preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Products (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in using BI Tools in creating dashboards and data profiling will be an additional advantage
