The Enterprise Audit Practice (https://www.mnp.ca/en/services/assurance-and-accounting/audits) at MNP is looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. Our teams of professionals help our clients' manage risk so they can focus on their core business. By intimately understanding each client’s business, we convert information into insights to uncover hidden opportunities to improve client efficiency and performance.
As part of the management team, you will be required to lead MNP's audit teams and ensure the correct accounting practices and methodologies are applied to our clients. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the customer's entire insurance mandate
- Manage the audit from planning to completion of declarations
- participate in the implementation of the business plan within the working group
- collaborate with the client's finance team to ensure that all insurance mandates are executed on time
- advise, train and supervise certification staff
- Help customers find solutions to their needs
- Work with customers and partners on complex accounting issues to find appropriate solutions.
Skills and Experience
- Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm
- Extensive understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles
- Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
- Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skills
