Vice President (BSA/AML Compliance)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Vice President, BSA/AML compliance, to lead our anti-money laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance efforts. This role is essential for ensuring adherence to both local and international AML regulations. The successful candidate will manage the BSA/AML program, conduct risk assessments, handle regulatory filings, and serve as the primary contact for audits and examinations. Additionally, the VP will provide guidance on BSA/AML policies, lead related projects, and deliver training to promote a culture of compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily compliance with BSA/AML regulations.
• Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the BSA/AML program.
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings accurately and on time.
• Act as the main liaison for internal and external audits.
• Advise business units on BSA/AML policies and procedures.
• Conduct bi-annual risk assessments and support enterprise-wide assessments.
• Lead and participate in BSA/AML projects and training initiatives.
• Mentor and guide a team of compliance professionals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10-12 years of experience in BSA/AML compliance within the banking sector.
• AML certification (e.g., ACAMS) is required.
• Knowledge of Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• The ability to work effectively with all levels of management and under pressure.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.
