Management Accountant

The Management Accountant will play a crucial role in offering financial and managerial accounting support for an esteemed company in the industrial/manufacturing industry. Based in South Staffordshire, this role will be suitable for an ACCA or CIMA studier looking for an opportunity to progress.

Description

• Supporting the finance department with budgeting and financial reporting
• Analysing and monitoring internal controls
• Overseeing cost control processes
• KPI analysis and reporting
• Support with monthly and year end accounting requirements
• VAT returns
• Cash Flow Forecasting
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Participating in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling
• Assisting with monthly and yearly forecasts
• Working closely with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers
• Participating in cross-departmental projects

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Highly Beneficial
• Studying towards an Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - Essential
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office and SAP - Highly Beneficial
• Strong understanding of manufacturing costing - Highly Beneficial
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
