Part Time Finance Assistant / Brighton / Accountancy / Finance

Client Details

A well established Brighton employer is looking to add to the finance team by recruiting a permanent Part Time Finance Assistant.

Description

As Part Time Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Credit control for outstanding debts
  • Run weekly debtors reports
  • Email initial payment request
  • Producing statements
  • Responding to client query emails
  • Ensure debtors reports are kept up to date with detailed information
  • Assisting with allocation of funds
  • Obtaining bank details and processing or approving refund payments
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Supporting any finance projects as required

    • Profile

    • Knowledge of working in a finance department/credit control function
    • Excel and accounting software
    • Attention to detail

    Job Offer

    £26-28,000 FTE

    Our client is flexible on the contracted hours of 20-30 per week. Ideally the same hours over 5 days (can be flexible on the start and finish times) or even over 4 days. You need to be in the office twice a week and the rest of the week you can work your hours from home.
