MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Account for Inventory Technical accounting areas such as On Hand, In transit, WIP, FG, MRO, E&O Reserves, Cap&Roll, etc.
- Prepare manual journals as needed with adequate supporting documentation and certification.
- Prepare inventory account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlines, follow up to resolve open items.
- Perform month end close (MEC) activities timely and accurate.
- Provide audit support as needed.
- Support regional and global reporting requirements such as monthly Balance Sheet analysis.
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.
- Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls
- Support local, regional, and global projects, as required.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Create, maintain all DTPs, SOP, Critical Spreadsheets to execute the job activities.
- Provide support to close open items.
- Perform Inventory Analysis for Stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Comply with Corporate Policies and Controls.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Background in Cost and/or Inventory accounting
- Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or audit
- Analytical skills
- Communication skills, diplomatic, flexible and “can do” mind-set
- Fluent in both written and spoken English (B2 +)
- Advance reporting tools including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Query
