About the job
This role is primarily focused on expense management, FP&A, and performance management with a strong emphasis on finance business partnering. You will play a key role in managing agent incentives, calculating commissions, and preparing financial reports that drive strategic decisions.

Kay Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the firm's expense budgeting process, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures versus budgets.
  • Produce monthly financial summaries and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads to maintain adherence to budget allocations.
  • Lead the forecasting and business planning processes, ensuring timely submission of projections and communication of key financial KPIs.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow and P&L monitoring, to support decision-making.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, driving insights for performance tracking and financial strategies.
  • Develop and implement sales performance reporting systems, including agent performance tracking and incentive compensation structures.
  • Calculate agent commissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company's incentive schemes.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, enabling them to make informed decisions that align with performance goals.
  • Act as a key point of contact for finance-related matters, supporting the Head of Finance with compensation matters, new initiatives, and any intercompany or regulatory tasks.

Skills and experience required
  • At least 5 years of experience in expense management, FP&A, and performance management within a financial advisory or life insurance context.
  • Strong understanding of agent incentive schemes and experience in calculating agent commissions.
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ability to step up as a deputy to the Head of Finance and lead key financial functions when needed.
