Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the Account Payable (AP), Account Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL) functions properly.
• General accounting oversight and analysis. 
• Set up procedures, internal control, and systems to ensure the timely & accuracy of deliverables
• Liaise with external parties like banks, customs, sales tax, auditors, company secretaries, insurance company’s lawyers, etc.
• Plan, implement, and supervise the company’s financial strategy.
• Manage the company’s financial accounts, payrolls and utilities, treasury and budget, cash receipts, month year-end process, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, debt activity, trust account statement reconciliations, and financial assets.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives.
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Provide recommendations.
• Tax and company secretarial matters.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Assist the Finance Controller in other duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Be competent in Microsoft Excel and have knowledge of Dynamic 365, which will be an added advantage. 
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years of working experience in Accounts Payable or any other accounting function.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel Advanced.
• Experience with ERP systems is required; SAP experience will be an advantage.
• Well-organized and focused, able to cope with multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting/finance/Cost Accounting or Minimum Diploma Holder
