- Support and evaluate new business and investment opportunities, as well as contract rolls in Taiwan. This position is expected to be a key interface between the Commercial team and various regional Business Managers and APCI support groups such as Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Accounting.

Description
Conduct cash flow analysis for project investments and pricing strategies, coordinating inputs and leading reviews with tax, accounting, and treasury teams to secure management approval.
Provide daily financial and business guidance by actively engaging in ongoing business planning and decision-making processes, collaborating with various managers and serving as the primary interface with finance functions.
Uphold the financial integrity of business decisions by implementing analytical policies, participating in the evaluation and approval of investments and transactions, ensuring proper documentation, managing operational analysis and reporting, and contributing to the development of operating plan targets.
Support the Taiwan Controller in maintaining functional independence and ensuring compliance with corporate policies, exercising sound judgment to take opposing positions when necessary to uphold financial and managerial controls.
Analyze financial issues and assess risks, offering strategic insights and recommendations for deal structuring on potential revenue-generating capital projects.
Perform financial analyses for contract renewals, merchant pricing proposals, and new business opportunities.
Lead analysis for Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Selling, General, and Administrative Expenses (SG&A).
Assist in preparing annual operating plans by collaborating closely with functions such as Commercial, Production, Distribution, and Asset teams.
Provide support for Joint Venture (JV) reporting requirements.
Undertake other ad hoc financial analysis tasks as assigned.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, including roles in industry or professional consultancy/CPA firms; familiarity with financial modeling techniques is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a multinational company or international assignments is highly desirable.
- Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and investments strategically. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic matrix organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
