Audit / Accounting (Senior & Manager)

Location: PKF (Ipoh, Perak)

Requirements:

• Education:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Membership of MIA is an added Advantage.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in audit/ accounting or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a senior or managerial role, preferably with exposure to leading audit engagements and managing teams.
  • Experience working with Big 4 firms is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and auditing standards.
  • Proficient in using accounting and audit software.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• Leadership & Management:
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring junior staff, ensuring quality work and professional development.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple client engagements and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and executing audits or financial statement preparation.
• Communication Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions, report writing, and presentations.
  • Ability to communicate complex accounting and audit concepts to clients and non-financial stakeholders.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate potential solutions, and make recommendations.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Personal Attributes:
  • Strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems independently.
• Languages:
  • Fluent in English & Mandarin is an advantage, depending on the geographical scope of clients.
